About Tom
Tom's passion lies in all things mountain biking.
With a BSc in Construction Design Management (Civil Engineering), Tom worked in civil engineering before moving into the oil and gas sector. He then returned to his roots, taking on the role of Lead Trail Designer at CRC.
With his real-world experience building a wide range of trails, Tom ensures innovative designs can be delivered on the ground. His experience working in engineering has also added to his ability to solve complex challenges while meeting tight timescales and budgets.
Predictably, he spends plenty of time on his mountain bike and also volunteers with the Aberdeenshire Trail Association (ATA). Tom was awarded IMBA Trail Advocate of the Year 2019.
